Abstract
In the scenario of an ever-rising number of urban married women entering the formal workforce, there has been an increasing amount of work stress both at home and the workplace. Therefore, the present study was undertaken to analyze the impact of occupational stress on the home environment as perceived by selected respondents. Results showed that the respondents could not look after their children and family members, and moreover, irrespective of the occupational status they hold, everyone faces a medium level of stress in their respective work.
